Using the Collapsed Search Results Feature

CompuHost makes it easier than ever to locate a desired listing by utilizing a "Collapsed Duplicates" format, whereby all "duplicates" (matching Title and Artist) are collapsed and expanded by clicking the Plus (+) sign to the left of the SongID. This greatly enhances the performance of your searches while producing more manageable, condensed result sets. (NOTE: This feature may be deactivated within the Options Menu (Main Menu->Options->Disable Collapsed Duplicate...)

SongList Search Helpful Hints

Broad Match - Enter several keywords (or parts of keywords) to narrow down your search results. Ex: Enter "pres lone" to locate "Are You Lonesome Tonight" by "Elvis Presley".
Multiple Selections - To Select/Deselect Multiple listings, hold DOWN the "CTRL" key while clicking the desired listings.
To select consecutive listings, click the FIRST desired listing and hold DOWN the "SHIFT" key while selecting the LAST desired listing.
Embedded Search - Use surrounding "quotes" (") to search for complete "phrases". ie:{"My Way" Elvis} will locate the song "My Way" by Elvis Presley or "I Did It My Way" by Elvis, since both files contain the "phrase" "My Way" and also include "Elvis" anywhere.

Search As You Type (H) - Activating this options allows for immediate Search Results without the need to click a button! CAUTION: Extremely large Songlists may impose excessive CPU load on the underlying computer system. This is entirely dependent on the System Performance capabilities.

For even faster and more convenient song additions, you may utilize the Drag and Drop functionality as demonstrated below.

1   Open the Songlist Viewer by pressing ALT-S or F5.
2   Once opened, you may search your SongList as described earlier and simply Drag and Drop selections onto the appropriate Performer within the Performer Rotation List (H)(Figure - Main Screen), or directly into a selected Performer's Song Queue (I)(Figure - Main Screen).
